I have learnt that (gasp) Daddy can be wrong...Silly dispute over aluminium foil versus plastic wrapping stuff. He was telling me how the plastic could do anything that the aluminium could and sometimes do it better. So I asked him to wrap the potatoes for cooking in the fire... (hi hi).
That my niece has now got 13 teeth. And from a silly nursery rhyme contest between my sister and I we went to look up the two cats from Kilkenny reference and learnt that it came from the time of the Irish rebellion of 1798. Apparently some soldiers where amusing themselves by making two cats tied together by their tails fight. When the officer came to stop it, a soldier supposedly cut the tails off the cats, and then explained that the cats had devoured each other leaving only the tails...
So nothing profondly philosophical, mainly some personnal news and a bit of trivia.
