am i the only one who saw naruki's first comment/troll/whatever as pure irony for the sake of starting a silly debate? as others have pointed out, naruki is usually like this. his/her big mistake on this one is only that he/she didn't make it funny enough to be obviously a call to arms for a little role-playing dialogue (where naruki gets to be bad cop).
i thought this sort of thing was what people were missing?
naruki is simply going by the standards that were in effect 11 months ago, which is probably unadvisable since - as we keep remarking - it's different now. take some time to get familiarised with each other - ALL THREE of you (and other folks) and compromise a little.
i'm willing to be more lenient on coming down on people for being ornery or rude so the board is less boring, but i would like to see personal insults kept to a minimum. AND i also don't want to see any more rallying of the ranks like this thread is attempting to do. Fight your own battles as intelligently as you can, and show your strength and dignity by doing it alone. If people support you, they'll say so without your requesting it. It doesn't bode well to try to divide opinion by tattling - that only creates more ill feeling than the original insult.

- I argue that by saying 'must you tweak the moderators' implies that a rule IS being broken, else why would we be tweaked, so naruki you are wrong! so NYAH!
