seem to be a good idea. We gave my Grandmother an e-mail only appliance last year, and after spending one afternoon over Thanksgiving break teaching her she's gotten to be quite the e-mail user. And the best part: I've not gotten one tech support call this whole year. (Unlike the rest of my relatives who own computers but aren't anywhere near geeks. Don't get me started.)

Yes, the tech-support industry does seem to have a self-destructive nature to it. Don't worry though... Microsoft is still in business and will be for a while. :)
