Well, it's not QUITE my birthday yet. Come midnight it will be. Even with the dateline and all that business, I'm not sure if my birthday has hit the planet yet. Maybe. Time zones throw me off. But at midnight, it'll be my birfday.
But, I'm starting the celebrations today. At 5 o'clock comes the happy hour. Followed by the dinner, followed by the drinking, followed by going to BUZZ to see DJ Dan and Dieselboy. Sometime aroudn 5 in the morning, I'll make my trek over to a friend's (and designated driver) apt and her convenient sofa to rest. then home to my place where my new 100GB WD hard drive is waiting for me. Along with it is a box of SCA adapters for the 18.2GB U2W 10krpm WD scsi drives that are coming soon. Finally enough room to cultivate a proper mp3 collection.
So, yah. Happy birfday to me... And to everyone. While I'm not a national holiday anywhere, I'm banking on that being the case at some point. So if you wanna be forward thinking, you too should start your celebrations. Get the fireworks out.. mix up the mai-tais. Give each other gifts. Go party. Have fun. Cuz is ChicoDay tomorrow (and it's being observed today.. kinda like they do with those funky holidays where people are supposed to get off work but the person was born on a weekend date...).
