A bunch of friends and I decided one night to drive to Denny's and get a grand slam. We left at 3 in the morning (i'd been up since 6 am the previous day) and drove 45 minutes to the nearest one. We discovered that it had closed at midnight. Not deterred, we proceeded to drive for another hour to get to the next one, which was open, and we happily ate our grand slams.
