A projection TV. Not a real beamer you aim at a wall/external screen, but A (big!) TV where the picture is projected onto the back of the screen. AFAIK this is (mostly?) used for those 50+" TVs. Taking a wild guess at how they work: probably a beamer placed vertically up, a mirror to turn it back horizontal and a screen the mirror bounces the light onto. Of course I could be wrong... SD Maruko-kun (who wishes _real_ beamers weren't so damn expensive, though someone I know bought a used one for about $1000)
