My parents and other relatives are wonderful people, but not well-off; there are debts that need to be settled and retirement funds to be filled. If I 'just' qualified as wealthy, I could help them with their debts and then, after that money was distributed, be only well-off or comfortable. However, I would be happy knowing that those I love wouldn't have to worry as much as they do about their futures.
