Does anyone know if Mandrake vulnerable to... by crashin2001-11-09 17:01:41

when I asked someone on security things because mandrake is based on redhat... I got told that because redhat release was usually before mandrake so they would go over it for issues(or found out about them while making their latest ver) and fix what they knew of it. However personally I'd treat it as yes they are at risk because it uses afik the redhat core stuff. I had to shut the odd thing that was at risk that was default on... however so far I've had no problems with my mandrake tho I'm running the old ver 7. Btw if there is a security issue check their site they do list patches, etc for ones they know of as soon as they find them...
