The "no DVD players for Linux because it's open source" is either an example of extreme gullibility (believing MS when they say that open source infects any software it comes in contact with), or a convenient excuse for ignoring that section of the market and then persecuting the people who try to fill the void.
BTW, have you ever looked at the quality of these ripped movies? They suck, as a general rule. Worse than VHS, and you lose out on any extras the DVD includes. I think the movie companies are trying to solve a largely nonexistent problem. |
