            Mitsubishi by bldyrlms 2001-11-09 17:20:47
Well, as I stated in my original post, they are doing this under our nose.
To cite just one example: Mitsubishi's new line of big screen projection televisions this year (Diamond & Platinum models) have a firewire port on them. And they have the 5C encryption in the TV.
And as for the FCC, of the 3 websites I listed, the FCC was one of them. And I know it's about as fun to read as using tweezers to trim pubic hair... but it's stated right in there that 5C will be adopted & licensed as the encryption standard for i.Link

But you're right... the FCC is a noble and good organization that enforces and serves it's implacable government without ever erring and always serves the peoples interest to the fullest. Oh wait, forget that, sorry, I was getting brainwashed too.
