Well, I've got my resume changed, changed more, printed & reprinted, e-mailed to ten million job sites & HR departments, and passed around at a job fair.
The bad news:
The market is depressing as hell these days. I was shocked at how few businesses were at the job fair.
The good news:
I may very well have a JOB OFFER!!! WOOHOO!!!
I'm using a library computer right now...at least it's fast. I had to give my 700MHZ/128Mb & 900MHZ/256Mb back - they came from work. That 700MHz drop to a Pentium 200 sucks. I mean it hurts. And my web access is cut. Great, no job and no net. 8^) Oh well, things are looking okay right now. Hopefully I will be working again soon.
I found an open position for a VB coder here in town, $50k/yr, I will have to learn VB. I don't figure there's anyone here to fill that spot, and only crazy people want to live in a paper mill town....oh, wait...coders are all crazy. 8^/
