I have a complete backup of all my CDs. by skeegenin2001-11-09 09:35:01

            But he's got a point. by Arcanaloth 2001-11-09 13:11:40
I have quite some CD's, and those I hear the most I ripped and MP3ed. Why? It's easier to play a song on the computer; I can navigate alphabetically sorted directories easier than a stack of CD's, and the speakers of my box are even better than those of my stereo. Not to forget that I want to move into a dorm in the near future, where the stereo would eat a considerable amount of space.
Now, should a law or a 5C-chip interfere with my legal right to make copies of the CD's in another media (the MP3's)?
