I thought that they were afraid of theft. However, on the note of small handbags. I could picture quite an armament that can be fit into a few laptop bags. Given the number of unarmed people at COMDEX I could imagine that quite a disaster could be set there if this policy weren't in effect. You could have several people with fully auto 9mm or Uzi's and enough clips to keep any terrorist busy, and fit it all into a brief case (didn't anybody see Snatch or the Matrix. They had all kindsa guns under their clothing.) VtM My Assamite in the cam game has a gym bag that an elder brujah would cry to know he had (sshhh, nobody tell). /VtM Hope I didn't give Al Qaeda any ideas.
