Maybe someone can explain everyone's aversion to frames. I don't
get it. At least frames gives non-visual agents an alternative
(<noframes>).
Not only that, it's a heck of a lot easier to maintain (you
don't have to update each page each time the navigation or
whatever changes), and you can keep your navigation with you
instead of having to scroll all the way back up.
So why is misusing tables All That and a Bag of Macademia Nuts?
