I'm with a company that just got bought out... we are still awaiting "word from above" - that is, marching orders from the new owners. Kinda sucks....they are either in Toronto,Canada or Fremont,California, depending on whom you ask...neither location is much concerned with the former corporate headquarters here in Maine... This was the perfect size company less than 100 employees, decision making people on-site...and now.... it's just a tiny cog in a big impersonal machine. Layoffs are being announced Monday.. I dunno if I hope to stay, or not. Sigh.
