And not just socially either =P A 20 year old guy can take his 21 year old girlfriend out to dinner and she can drink, but he can't. A married 20 year old man can take his 21 year old wife out ot dinner and it _IS_ legal for him to drink, so long as his wife is present. I know thats how it works in Alaska, I'm not sure if that's state or federal law tho. A married person takes on the credit of their spouse. So if you have somewhat bad credit and marry someone with good credit, and go to get a homeloan, your chances of getting it are higher then in you were single.
