Oh Come All Ye Lurkers thread by DragonLady2001-11-09 04:23:50
  I think I'm a "Pokie" by dire_lobo 2001-11-09 08:22:54
I ALWAYS peruse the comments (Poking about) (reading strip is obviously a given) and...
If I have time,
and if I am intrigued
and if I feel like I can add something relevant or entertaining
and if I'm not feeling insecure [having been LART'ed for some of my more tongue-in-cheek posts by the cranky ones - at least that was my impression - but I'm sensitive... ;-)]
I POST
Been following the OCAYLT thread with much interest (thanks D.Lady), but tried to figure out what my status was... based on age, I'm an "Oldie" who "Lurked" for a couple of years...in terms of technical skill, I'm probably a "Newbie" (compared to some of the regulars) and based on when I'm able to first see the day's strip, I'm a "Straggler". Your opinions on my official status welcome - here or in diary...
oh, and I tend to ramble on in what could only described as a penchant for excessive, exorbitant verbosity... ;-) From Merriam Webster.com (http://www.m-w.com)
"POKE" 2 a : to look about or through something without system:
RUMMAGE poking around in the attic
"EXORBITANT"2 : exceeding in intensity, quality, amount, or size the customary or appropriate limits
