Metaphorical Calamari? by BlurOfSerenity 2001-11-09 08:04:31
Disclaimer: this isn't naughty. But it's the craziest dream I ever had.

I was walking down a brick path in the midst of white nothingness. It's wasn't a bright amazing white emptiness, just that there was nothing really there and it wasn't interesting. It was as if the ground was white and the sky was white, so you couldn't see a horizon. So anyways, I'm walking down this straight brick path, it takes a few turns, going here and here. Off to the sides of the path I occasionally saw random things, nothing very interesting, I can't really remember it. But here's where it got strange. The path went up some stairs, turned 180 degress and crossed over itself. I was looking at my feet as I walked along some more, and then stopped when I saw something. There was a dead squid at my feet. Dull white, about a foot long, and just lying there at my feet motionless. When I slowly looked up, everything front of me was black. Everything behind me was still normal and white, but in front of me the whole Universe was pitch black except for the brick path which still stretched out towards infinity in front of me. And the squid. There was the squid at my feet, but as I looked up, there were millions of them strewn about the ground in front of me in the blackness, stretching out endlessly to little specks on the horizon, as if an infinite ocean had dried up. I went to take a step into the black area and woke up. That scared me. phew. Crazy enough for you?
