Have you ever seen two sunsets or sunrises alike? Have you ever held a baby? Close your eyes and breathe in and out slowly through your nose a few times. Expected "norm"?? The only norm I ever expected was a character on "Cheers".
In the early 70's I had several mystical experiences but the western Weltansscharung pigeonholes that and blames it on chemistry.
Also, I and some friends experienced a greenish flash of light in the middle of a clear day with no discernable direction when we were on top of a 14,000 foot mountain.
