early one morning i was on my way to hockey practice (back around the time that haley's comet last came around) - my mom and i were out by our car and i happened to look up and saw something moving across the sky kind of a gray smudge that kind of fast and with an odd motion - the front moved forward but the back would stay still for a few moments - then would catch up with the front - sort of moving by expanding and contracting its shape i would think i was seeing things and had mistakenly seen a plane or something but my mom also saw the very same thing - she is rather practical and if it had been a plane she would have said so - but whatever it was - was not a plane.
