If you have no patience and just want to download the pic, the following works for me under ie 5.5:
just try a right click, then use the keyboard to cancel the popup, immediately followed by another right-click. Then you should get the normal context menu.
Apparently, it doesn't get all the events, if they are too quick, or something like that.
This is by far the quickest way to download pictures that are protected by javascript.
