<beware 2 part rant follows below on the system> add to it my roommates aunt is a justice of the peace and I had an uncle that was a judge. One thing that disgusted me once was the woman that used to live where I currently live. My roommate back then rented the basement suite and the woman had the upper half of the house. This woman had 4 kids with 3 diffrent fathers. Two fathers were paying support... and her reason for her last baby(she had it right before moving out after trashing this place so bad that it had to go to tribunal to get repairs)... well we heard her talking when downstairs one day. She said if she got pregant she'd get a total of $2000 a month for all her kids all together. Then she talked what she'd do with the extra money(and some of her other scams as she was being hunted by collection agencies). So basically the woman had the baby just for money. She also didn't deal very well with the kids she had... they were distructive, ran wild, and had no respect for anyone or anything. She also went to court to force the guys to give her money in the max amounts that were allowable. This woman wasn't ill and could of worked but she made a life of being on welfare and living off of money on the kids.(one kid was hitting 7 so the amount of the childbenifits was lowering which was part of her reason for having another kid... from what we overheard). Now having been a nanny there are other like incidents I could comment on. Where the father should of had the children as they'd of been better off... or the mom was milking them for whatever and they didn't really need to.(it was strictly revenge) Now on judges I have a beef with some... I was served less than 24 hrs notice that my ex would remove my children from bc and had went for court permission.(I had a jurisdicitional clause that prevented it as he'd uttered threats). The lawyer I had had little more time but didn't bother to tell me...(he had about 72 hrs notice). I fired him(he was a twit more than once). I represented myself and I cold of been nasty and delayed things. I didn't want that all I wanted was to make sure I'd see my kids again. So I let it go as the judge didn't think him uttering threats was good enough excuse for me to invoke the clause and said I was being unreasonable... She let him go. However asked that I be given a phone number and that the kids must return by x time to BC. I wasn't given the phone number til way later. My ex upon comming back told his family to lie and say they didn't know where he was. I had to call the police to find my children were back and just sleeping... this was after 24 hrs of them not telling me they were back.
