I am still looking for the disk manager in 2000. I'm sure it's there somewhere. I'm in no hurry to find it though.
Start->Settings->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Computer Managment. It's listed under the Storage tree, if I'm thinking of the same thing you are. Works pretty well, except you can't resize an existing partition.

I wish it was still there on my system. Some retarded 3rd-party program removed it at some point, and didn't put it back when I uninstalled the software. Now I have to search the Windows help files for it when I want to use it.</gripe>
