the Nito style, with the long katana (or daisho or whatever you were taught to call it) and shorter wakizashi. Have you read Musashi's book of five rings? He seemed to prefer the nito style with the theory that a sword in one hand should be just as manuverable and powerful as a sword in two. Personally, if I were to use two, I think I'd prefer two longer wakizashi as they are lighter and one-handed. Most of my practice with a katana is one-handed, but it still tends to be quite a bit more cumbersome than with two hands, or with a wakizashi.
