Where's the original Hack?! <:-( by nixit 2001-11-07 18:38:50
I've got Adventure, NetHack3.3, Rogue, Zork1, Zork2, Zork3, ZorkTUU, and Zork Nemesis (not as good), but where is Hack, the predecessor to NetHack? Does anyone know where to find a download (or even source code) for Hack? I've already tried google a bunch of different ways, but no luck. As you probably noticed, I'm building a collection of classics (and I will share apon request: nixit at ufie dot org), and it just won't seem complete without that missing link. There are others to get, and I'll take suggestions for which games should be included in an authoritative collection of classics for both PC and *NIX systems.

Any ideas?

#@$%& z1root! Now see what you got me into!?
