study Aikido. The only sword instruction I have comes from that, we use either just a long sword (bokken) or both the long and short. I think we might start an Iaido club here, don't know though - this is a school club, so there are some problems with using real swords, even unsharpened. As to benifits of one over the other, I can't say - as I donot have enough experience to give an answer. For anything else, just email me or contact me on aim/yahoo or even icq - addresses in my diary. My favourite though is the long and short together, and that is what I meant by two swords.
