considering all the guys who have answered "girls" to this question, I'm wondering why I never date men who buy me things. The last guy I dated (for just about a year) did not buy me dinner once, we always split the check. And I certainly didn't get flowers and little gifts. Not that I minded, I dated him because I liked him, not because he'd spend money on me. I'm perfectly capable of paying my own way. I'm just wondering who these women are that inspire these outpourings of money. And what it says about me that I don't.
