How about useing the included Novell DOS by pecosdave 2001-11-07 11:55:18
that comes on the license disk? Have you ever tried booting to a Novell License disk? Comes up in Novell DOS 7, and I like it's editor a lot better than I like MS-DOS editor, and I actually like MS-DOS editor quite a bit.

With all that said I've hardly messed with Novell at all since 4.11. I don't know what 5 and later do to boot but I thought they removed DOS from the picture, I know 5 was supposed to be pure JAVA.

I installed my Netware 4.11 server three years ago on the crappiest motherboard I've ever come accross. TX Pro chipset, integrated AGP video that I am afraid of blowing a monitor if I leave it on to long. Built in sound, of course compleately unused. I tried installing various Win9x editions on this board and could not make it run longer than about 10 mintues at a stretch and couldn't get it to start or shutdown without errors. Not to mention the crappy AMI bios with mouse support. The only time I have to reboot this machine with Netware is to turn it back on after a power outage that outlast my UPS. In my part of Houston thats about once ever 2nd or 3rd month. I still don't know how MS got the server market share away from Novell when they produced that good of a product.
