It did provide me with entertainment at the time. And I'm pretty confident if I start hawking my old collections on e-bay, I might turn a profit. I was a pretty successful player and trader and built up a nice collection of prestigious old school cards. Not to mention, I bought them buy the crate when expansions came out.
I've got a sneaking suspicion that my collection of Arabian Nights, Antiquities, etc are of value. Of course, that depends on whether or not people still wanna buy cards that got banned. The first rule revision wiped out a nice stack of cards I had (lotuses among other things).
Of course, I'm too lazy to appraise and auction then things... damnit
