Why I tell people not to use Windows by Illiad 2001-11-07 09:09:29

It's unacceptably unstable and has caused me to lose work. I do regular backups, but half an hour of work lost is still half an hour of work lost. Rebooting the machine after a lockup causes wasted productivity while you're waiting for Windows to nag at you with the old "you didn't shut your machine down properly, so NEXT time..." message.

Having said all of that, I do like some MS products. I still haven't come across project management software that is as clean or useful as Project 98. Fabulously put together.

By the way, telling people to "get a life" in the same breath that you're telling them to use rational arguments doesn't help your case any. You come across as a hypocrite.
