Would they have done a similar thing if Internet Exploder
had crash&burned on their site?
Why didn't they just file a bug report with Netscape and the
Mozilla community and try to find out where it went wrong?
(buttons outside forms/un-closed tags/double-closed tags[1]/etc.
I've seen Lynx report "bad HTML" so many times, I don't trust
websites claiming the crashes are 100% the browser's fault...)

At work, I've had IE leak 100+MB of memory within 1 minute one time,
which is much worse than Netscape 3.01/Linux at home that only
slowly starts to leak after a few hours of heavy use, giving
enough responce time to close it down. :|

SD Maruko-kun (probably switching to a home-compiled Mozilla 0.9.x
in a few days)
[1]even the UF board uses a few double-closed tags: < /BODY> and
< /HTML > for starters...
