They had donned rubber hip-waders, and were standing in the middle of a river. Strapped to each of their backs was a small generator, and as soon as one of them stuck the two attached electrodes into the water, all manner of things began to float to the surface, stunned (pinin' for the fjords, you see) but otherwise unhurt. They were then free to walk about and pick up what they needed to test, and the others recovered minutes later and resumed swimming. |
