I forget what they called it but it encouraged eating large quanities of meat and only small amounts of veggies. It was supposed to be good for a specific health condition. Vegans don't eat any meat products(dairy, fish, redmeats, or whitemeats). Vegitarians may have dairy or fish.(Ovo-lacto) Others may have poultry, dairy and fish. Some may only have dairy or only fish... Those that have lived it all their life or have been in it for many years could probably define them better. I've been a vegitarian and a vegan... Now I'm a flexitarian... which means basically some days/weeks/months I eat vegitarian things other times I'll eat meat products... it varies on my mood/health, etc.
