As I stated here some people get very sick without it. I am one, you are one. It's quite common among the indigenous people of north america who were non-agricultural hunter-gatherers as little as 4 generations ago. More rare in the general populace of the globe to be sure, but I'm sure it's a recessive gene that surfaces from time to time no matter what your genetic construct is. For those that can and want to be vegetarians, great, more meat for kickstart and I, and those like us.
