Hey, I have nothing against your opinions. I've been described as a "California vegetarian" because I don't eat beef or pork but will occasionally eat chicken and turkey, and I still eat lots of seafood depending on what my college student budget allows. The main reason I gave up cows and pigs was for health reasons. I don't need all that extra fat in my diet, and since I gave them up a year ago, I've lost weight and haven't missed them at all.
And yes, I'll do sushi whenever I have an extra $20-30 to burn. Just don't eat the whole blob of wasabi unless you want to feel what putting a blowtorch in your mouth is like. It may not be like eating a whole habanero pepper (which I did on a bet, and won without too much agony), but it's not a kind of heat one gets used to. |
