about 6 yrs ago, dept mgr electronics at wallfart,
the day after thanksgiving, HUNDREDS of ppl lined
up outside for an hour before the store opened, most
of them made a mad dash for the gameboys -- advertised
special; front page of ads -- we had 3 on the shelf...
and somehow it was MY fault that corp buyers underestimated
the response and sent only one case, which got lost in
back room and wasn't stocked by night crew...we found it,
brought it out, and they didn't make it to the shelf...
