Look at the source code of the UF board html pages:
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; CHARSET=iso-8859-1">
iso-8859-1 is latin1, so if a browser renders non-latin1
characters in this case, the browser is broken. [1]
You don't like it? Then ask Illiad & crew to switch the charset
to UTF8 or something like that.


SD Maruko-kun (I hope this goes right; preview and board post
seem to disagree on what is and isn't a html tag...)

IE displays the characters (like g-circonflex(sp?)) instead of
blocks/nothing/& #x11d ; as it should.
