im pretty sure that if linux was the dominant desktop os, people would complain about it just as much. thing is, most linux users at least have some clue about what they're doing, where as a lot of windows users don't. they'd have all sorts of problems with linux (if not more), would constantly be cursing torvalds and calling linux crap. they might even be looking to the underdog windows as a saviour .. 'hey, try this windows thing, its pretty damn good! its way better than linux!'
