| i agree. almost every US company has been taking a little (or a lot) too much advantage of the events. I live in a fairly small town in Oklahoma, and even here, this weekend there are 2 different car dealerships having "American Weekend Sale"'s, and going on the radio and talking about how "American" they are doing things, etc, etc. They're doing it pretty "American" by taking advantage of someone else's greif, just to make a dollar. Truth is, a lot of these car companies may feel bad about it, but they feel a whole lot better that they can make a lot of money by just mentioning they recognize the problems going on, and people eat it up. The only people that dont know about it are people that live in caves, or such, but people still think "oh my, that company knows whats going on with the tragedy, lets spend money with them." As if it matters. |
