the Win98 this thing came with, Ill be putting some version of unix on it. myself.

yes, the early product was fine - up to about win95(eventually). since then its just Gates wanting to run the world. by the time Win98 collapses, the linux stuff will be true competition for the replacement.

and in fact, having had to teach computer illiterate older ppl how to use M$ product, I can tell you that none of them are so friendly that 'mom' can learn them easily, never mind install them.
