Has anyone ever REALLY listened to what he's saying in that song? The whole thing is about this guy asking this girl to do the impossible before he loves her. Up till a few days ago, I thought that he was basically saying that he didn't want her. I mean, have you ever tried making a shirt in medieval times without stitching or sewing? Or washing that shirt without water? I know we have dry-cleaning now, but take it back to the era where they didn't even have the internet. ;) Anyway, yeah, the whole song is actually about the guy saying that love may seem impossible at the time, but if you're willing to do the impossible, love happens.
So why am I posting this crap on a UserFriendly message board? Simply put, my best friend, the girl of my dreams, we finally hooked up over the weekend. This was after me assuming she'd never feel anything for my nerdly self.. well.. I look good and all.. but yeah.. ok.. anyway.. she realized she'd fallen for me when I was installing her CD burner of all things!! I mean, how sweet is that? The girl you've had a crush on forever realizes she likes you when you start doing the geek thing. =) Anyway, the song made a whole lot more sense after that. And for those of you who have lost hope in love, just remember, sometimes the impossible DOES happen. ;)
