sometime. Persist until you come across mention of quite a few myths regarding IQ, and the problems this mythical standard has foisted on us all.
BTW, I, as you know if you've been reading me regularly, am not ungifted intellectually. I believe a grave mistake is made whenever a "standard" like IQ is set. Judging personal worth by stats is something for RPGs, not for the real world.
Again, BTW, I have tested "unmeasurable" on all IQ tests I have been made to take (I'm talking professionally given/scored, not these "internet IQ" pages). I am currently a 2nd-level tech support agent. This says to me that either IQ is complete bunk, or that a lot more than IQ is needed to succeed, or both. I personally believe that "both" is the proper answer.
Please think about this, and don't use pigeonholes to decide important things, even as a thought experiment. |
