by something like that. Originally I think my sister tried AOL but then went for something more local... However perhaps this guy really does have a clue... At the age this fellow is at I was doing programming in various languages, amoungst other things. However computers were pricy and most homes didn't have them back then so I didn't have my own home network. However my brother at that age built a computer that used punchcards, was messing with amiga's from his work, and also built a 2e clone for his comp sci/electronics class. However yea it could be someone that doesn't have a clue on some terms or something.
