The policy here is that any cash receipt issued for a transaction over a particular amount usually carries a revenue stamp. There seems to be a shortage of them in the market and When I collected the receipt for the insurance premium on my bike, there was no revenue stamp on it and there was a rubber stamp affixed reading "Revenue stamp not available in post office". Govt. run companies... sheeesh.
