some SO's aren't worth keeping and the lart is showing them the door. Others that are, well you get more bees with honey than with vinegar. Something cooked that they really like, nice backrub, doing something special for them, etc can be a positive lart of sorts to relax and open up convo. Looking up info together with some humour in it maybe to help settle questions on the odd thing or a misunderstanding... There are diffrent approaches to take depending on the background of the circumstances in question.
