a case of Miranda being a tad bitter because Pearl happened on a more successful approach to putting AJ at ease than her own efforts have been. (Of course, the fact that AJ was smitten with Miranda might have something to do with her lack of success, but why be logical about this?)

On the whoohoo / troll commentary...
geeks are almost by definition not social creatures, and prone to making conversational faux pas'. We are also more adept at recognizing mistakes and correcting them.
Since this thread is more along the lines of a conventional post, I am willing to give whoohoo the benefit of the doubt and say he was just really abrasive and inept last time, and has adapted to the locally accepted behavioral patterns.
Never let it be said that we don't give everybody a chance to fit in.
Now watch him prove me wrong by trolling like a rogerborg for the next week. :( |
