Does any one remember... by Nerco 2001-09-29 08:07:19
... In the Secret of Monkey, when you were in the woods on Melee island, and you find this stump that had a passage that went to the end of the game? You try to go into it, and it would say something like "PLease insert disk 67 and press enter" If you just hit enter, it would go to another random number and keep doing that a few more times and Guybrush would just go "Well, I guess I can't go that way."

But the funniest moment in MI history was in "Secret," when you were on one of the cliffs on Monkey Island. If you went to the edge of it, the ground came out from under you and you would fall off, and in a mocking tone it brought up a little box that said "OH No! I hope you saved your game!" and had the little options to Save, Load, or Quit, just like in the Serria Adventure games like Space Quset.

Oh, now I long for the good old days... I wonder if I can find "Loom" somewhere...
