Excellent quality for it's price (<$150), with a hand-forged, fully tempered blade. It has traditional style wrappings, but epoxied fittings, so it's not a collector's item. It's for practitioners who want something they can tameshigiri or iai with, without costing a bundle or using their expensive custom-made traditional silk and rayskin 100x folded swords.
