The one point that a lot of people are missing in this attack can be likened to the raid that we (the US) did to the American Indians, or the British did to the Zulus, or the Mongolians did to the Chinese. There is only one way that a "sound minded" person can justify an action like this. That person must convince them self that what they are killing is less than what they are.

In short, they, the terrorist, believe that we, the US, are in a word sub-human. The early pioneers of America truly thought that the Natives were not human, or more to the point without soul. And therefore, free to kill. They though that there building were from the lost tribes of Israel. Because, the Indians could not build... they were not human. You get my point. It's easy to kill an animal; we kill millions of cows every year. These people believe that all they have done was knock down a beehive, killing a few thousand bees. That is all that we, none members, are to them.
