As someone else pointed out, this was written, and broadcast by Gordon Sinclair in June of 1973. It has nothing to do with the current events, although I will agree, it gives a great feeling. If you want to promote good feelings, and patriotism, do it using words and acts of your own. Don't use the words of man who died almost 20 years ago which described a completely different set of circumstances as if they were only recently spoken.
